Meet Our Team
“I have over 30 years of experience with Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Rehab operations. Graduate of Ferris State University and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. I live in Pennfield and raised three children with my husband of 38 years, and rescue Senior Weimaraners and Beagles. I love to spoil my 6 grandchildren and rescue pups, and spend as much time as possible in Florida.”
“For the last six years, I've been fortunate enough to work with seniors and their families as they move across the continuum of care. My husband and I live in the small, southwest Michigan town we grew up in and we have a three-year-old son who keeps us very busy. In our spare time, we spend a lot of time with our friends and family. When I happen to get a moment alone you'll find me huddled up with a good book."
Chelsey Montgomery, LPN
Director of Resident Care
“I've been working in the healthcare field since graduating from high school. I started out as a CNA and then obtained my nursing license in 2011. I absolutely love helping to care for the geriatric population; it's where my heart is. I am happily married with three beautiful girls."
“I graduated from Davenport University with a degree in animal science and business. I have always had a love for the outdoors which is where you'll find me in my spare time. My family and I have several pets and we also run Southern Oak Kennels North where we breed and train British Labradors. I also enjoy refurbishing furniture and going to family sporting events.”
Life Enrichment Director
"I love spending time with the residents and am passionate about creating memorable experiences for them. I am in the process of earning my Activity Director Certification and a Cognitive Stimulation Certificate. I am happily married with two children and a houseful of pets."
“I have worked for the Ganton family for over 16 years, starting at the original Lansing location, which is where I live with my husband of 36 years. We have 2 adult children, one grandson, and of course our big ole’ Great Pyrenees – Leila. In our spare time, we enjoy camping, kayaking, hiking, biking & reading. I love working for Ganton’s along with enjoying the residents & all my co-workers!"
Director of Maintenance
"I have worked with Scott Ganton and Ganton Senior Communities since 2014. I have worked in the field of Housing Maintenance for over 20 years and have finally found my passion in working with seniors. I am a huge University of Michigan Fan and love to spend time with my family and friends."
"Before transitioning to the assisted living industry, I worked my way through restaurants until I had the knowledge to become a Chef. My first Chef position was in a restaurant called the Tap House. I have had a passion for food my whole life and transitioning into this industry has only increased it. Now I get to make great food for people who truly deserve it. My parents always told me if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life and being a Chef has shown me just how true those words are."
